Writing my Accent West magazine article for November is always a treat for me. I love Thanksgiving and all the traditions associated with the holiday. I love the smell of spices wafting through the house,The gathering of loved ones, the changing of the seasons and the fact that you do not have to buy and wrap a million presents.
This year however; is missing several of the key components. The most important being family gatherings. John and I have not spent a Thanksgiving alone in 41 years. This year will be our first. So, what do you do with a 14 pound turkey that you already have in your freezer?
For the next few days I will be posting several of my turkey leftover recipes. We will eat like kings and queens for the next few weeks.
